Wonderful workshop weekend

Hello there, I thought I'd share with you some images of last weekend's workshops at Hope and Elvis.
Hope and Elvis is a large and inspiring studio venue in Nottinghamshire owned by Louise Presley. Louise runs workshops throughout the year and invites an impressive array of guest artists and makers to run workshops and creative days. Hopefully these images give you a taste of the atmosphere of the weekend and of Louise's creative space.  As usual, I brought along lots of my work to show for inspiration and lots of vintage materials to be used. It was a lovely couple of days spent with some enthusiastic and talented ladies.
This will be my last workshop for a while, as I am expecting a baby in about a months time so I will be occupied with other things! This blog will still be the space where I share the things I create with you but as you can understand,  for a while I won't be posting as often as in the past. A huge thank you to everyone who visits here for supporting me and my creative work and for those who take the time to leave such enthusiastic, positive and inspiring comments.  I hope that you will still check in here from time to time. Christine x

Congratulations on the impending arrival, you are going to be so busy, but in a delightful way. The Hope and Elvis weekend looks as if it was amazing and I'm sorry I couldn't get to it. I came to the one last year and it inspired me to make lots of things from vintage finds.I'm sure your creative habits will continue and wish you all the luck in the world.x

She is lovely! I would so much like to gie her to my book-loving daughter, if she is for sale.

Best wishes to you for a sweet time with your new baby. My "baby" was "new" 28 years ago ... talk about treasures!

I see I left my comment on the wrong post ... if any post can be wrong! I was commenting on your beautiful drawer doll who "wears her words."
